motion requirements - is this enough

Hi -
I jsut purchased motion and on the requirements it says that I have to have OsX.3.5 my Mac is updated to .4 I don't want to upgrade to .5 because FCP doesn't run well in .5 my question is: does motion run in 10.3.4 ? is anyone out there using motion in 10.3.4?...how are the bugs ?

Sorry, the answer is NO.

Don't know the reason behind it, but I saw the installer does check the OS version on the VolumeCheck script.

Installer won't let you install on anything but what's specified.

BTW: FCP HD runs GREAT on my G4 / OS 10.3.5 / QT 6.5.1

What graphics card have you in your G4 to make it run so well? Today I upgraded to a g5 dual 2 gig because after reading the forums for g4 performance issues and the fact I couldn't install Motion on the g4 I thought I needed to get a g5.

Sitting with both machines side by side I can't help but feel that my quicksilver dual 1gig is a much more neater aesthetic design.
If I could have run Motion on it I wouldn't have outlayed cash on the 'brutist' g5.
