RSS Visualizer - Appropriate Program?

Posted by Rommel Cinco
I want to recreate the animations (for lack of a better term) that is shown in the RSS Visualizer located in System Preferences/Desktop & Screensaver/Screensaver/Screensavers/RSS Visualizer in OS X 10.4.3.

Is Motion the program that I would use to recreate this? If not, what program would I use?

My end goal is to use it in a multimedia presentation (one specific application would be in a Keynote presentation)? If so, how would I do it (a tutorial or a point in the right direction would be appreciated).

Thanks in advance.

The text animation you see there is done in 3D space which Motion does not currently have. It does have a 3D filter, but you can't change the point around which the object rotates in 3D space. After Effects is the place to go.
So, did Apple use an Adobe product to create this effect instead of one of their own?

The main reason that I am confused by this is that I remember seeing this same RSS Visualizer effect in the Apple Motion video on the Apple site.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to this query.

I don't know what Apple used, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Motion
