Film filter plug-in for Motion

I'm looking for a a way to add a film filter to a Motion project (a DVD menu). I tried to add the effect in FCP and export it to Motion, but to no avail. Any plug-ins I've been able to locate online are hundreds of dollars, and as I am not a professional, I can't drop that kind of change for this. Any ideas on where I can find such a plug-in that is inexpensive, or how to do it with stock Motion, FCP, or DVDPro effects?

If you like the filter in FCP, apply it there, export a self-contained movie (no conversion, reimport and replace, then go to motion.
