grow shrink

Dear Friends

I am having an issue with Motions Grow-Shrink Behaviour in all project shapes and sizes. To be more specific the Grow Shrink behavior causes my text to shimmer and jitter when I apply it. Furthermore the addition of drop shadows, glows or outlines look horrible as they do not move along with the text but seem to dance around it. I have tried to export with motion blur selected but it softens the whole image. Over the wekend I went to my local Apple store and tried my text treatment on there beefiest computer with loads of RAM and go the same results. I am using a G5 with an ATI xt 800 graphics card and 2 gigs of RAM. Is anyone else experiencing the same problems with this behavior ?

I wouldn't use grow/shrink on text - rather, animate the scale parameter with keyframes or a parameter behavior. I know this doesn't solve the grow/shrink problem directly, but there are things in Motion that still don't work quite right.
