Graphic Card for G4 PowerMac

I'd like load Motion on my G4 desktop However my current graphic card doesn't support it. I have a G4 PowerMac with Mirror door. Apple store says they don't have cards for that model anymore. Any ideas what I need and where can it be purchased?

Try ATI - they have the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro with 256 MB Vram and 2x 4x AGP capability. Also they have the 9700 Pro which is MAC /PC capable with 4x AGP and 256 MB Vram.

Buy.com has some great prices on these cards.

Since your comuter is a MDD model, Motion should load just fine. You do own it don't you? You know you can't just buy it by itself now?

I have the earlier ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Edition with 128 MB Vram in my Quciksilver 2002 dual 1.0 GHx MAC to run Motion 2.

Yes, I just got the Universal FCP Studio upgrade from Apple which includes Motion. I'll check out ATI. Thanks much.

I second the 9800 Pro card; working great in my G4 Quicksilver. Bought mine from OWC (www.macsales.com)

I too have an ATI 9800 Pro Mac edition with 128MB VRAM in a MDD dual 1.25ghz G4 and Motion 2 (and Motion 1 before I upgraded) runs just fine. I also noticed picture quality improvements in the FCP canvas when I installed it.
