keying HDV footage, wierd delay

I'm looking at using DV matte blast in motion 2, I've downloaded the demo and its fantastic. My problem is a small one. There is a delay between the sound and the video portion of my footage. I'm using a dual 2.7 G5 with 2 gigs of ram.
