Audio Sync problem from FCP

Hi, I've got a project in FCP 5.1.1 and I'm doing the "Send To Motion" command on a subclip in a sequence that I want to send to Motion. Thing is, when I open Motion 2, the audio in the clip starts at the beginning of the master media clip (Bars and tone in this case). It reminds me of the problem I face when I relink a clip in FCP that has no timecode... it just sets the in to the start of the whole clip since it has no timecode to reference.

Any suggestions? I'd love to take the whole sequence and send it to Motion, then be able to slide the graphics around and do the whole thing in Motion.

Try making the subclip independent before sending it to Motion.

Made it an independent clip and it didn't work. I tried trashing my prefs as well... nothing.
