Color shift generated by motion

Let's copy a clip upon itself in Fcp's Timeline

Let's take the upper clip and get it out of Fcp's TimeLine with send to Motion

Let's do whatever noodle in Motion 2 or even ... nothing , (nothing related to color correction anyway, and let's go back in Fcp

if I compare the 2 clips by changing the green track monitoring there in a shift in chroma !

rendered or not, in Rgb or YUV, and it's a big one if there is contrast and/or red color involved in the clip.

(I work in Pal) Fcp 5.1.2 - Motion 2)

I know this article refers to Shake but I suspect it's the same with Motion:

Try exporting each track as a QT movie and see if the color shift remains - please post back.
