Timecode issues

Hi All:

Long time FCP and After Effects user, wanting to switch to Motion for graphics. TIA.

1) When I send a clip to Motion for some Roto work it looses the timecode when it comes back, is there a way to keep the TC?

2) When I send several clips in different video layers it comes back as one clip, is there a way to keep the originals without copying them and have motion send it's project back and put in on top of the other layers like Shake does?

3) When I send a freeze frame form FCP to Motion it gets the TC right but it dispalys another frame?

Thanks a lot,

Alex Neuman

1) None that I know of
2) When you send clips(s) from FCP, FCP creates a new sequence containing the sent clips. Look for it in the browser. You can drop them back in your sequence.
3) Freeze frames, transitions, speed changes, and filters don't make the trip to Motion 2.
