File size limits/Blurriness

Sorry, not a Motion guy or even an AE guy but I need to do a credit roll, DVCProHD.

The graphics dept. has given me a VERY tall tiff of the credits and I just need to roll it. Every option I have tried is blurry. I have put it in a container group with "fixed size" checked and a few other combos. When I import the graphic I get a warning about the file size limits being around 2Kx2K. Is there no way to do this without getting the roll as a series of smaller files.

I would just do it in FCP - no file size issue there. Keyframe the clip to move up the screen, experiment with speeds to minimize flicker/jitter/roll.
