3D plugin for text?

I'm loving using Motion 3, and have started creating some nice 2D animated logos in it (with effects running in the 3D space) - but my client has now asked me to make the text of their logo appear 3D, too. Is there a plugin that anyone has used that will do this? Do I need to go outside of Motion or is there something that is usable within the program? The logo is from an .eps file...

I checked out Shade/Shape, but the example they have for 3D text is kind of ugly.
