acessing all 3 co-ordinates for a spline or paint stroke.

When I draw a spline or paint stroke in Motion 3, and access the Shape?Geometry,
it only gives me two of the 3 parameters to edit in 3d space.

Am I missing something? If these paint strokes are 3d, I need to access all these points
in 3D (Point01..........Pointnn) (x.y,z)

You aren't missing anything - Paint is actually created on a 2-D plane in 3D space.

If you want to create a stroke or particles in 3D, use a 3D emitter with the Motion Path behavior - you'll see that it has all three x,y,z coordinates in the Geometry section.

That's what I want; thanks for the help!

Is there a way to invert the y-z axis in Motion?

3d Studio Max's y parameter is Motion's z parameter; because
Motion uses the Left Handed Cartesian Rule; whilst Max uses the
Right Hand Rule. As I have been using 3ds Max or 3d Studio DOS since 1992
this is really throwing me for a loop.
