fixed resolution for 3d layers?

For 2D layers you can turn on fixed resolution to clamp a layer
to a fixed res, say 720x486.

When you switch to 3D, is there a function that locks the camera
to the same parameters?

Thanks

What is it you are trying to accomplish? I don't understand how or why you would "lock a camera" to a pixel size?

Well, lets say you have expanding particles or effects that go outside
the camera fulstrum. With the 2D fixed resolution, anything outside the
viewable area is culled or clipped and this save time and memory.

Basically, Motion should be able to camera-cull anything outside the
viewable area to the limits of the canvas-which after all if always only equal
to what you can see.
