Useful info for STP users with control surfaces

With the documentation for LogicPro 8 Apple has posted a 245 page Control Surface pdf manual.
Lots of useful info that would have been nice to have had for STP 1 or STP2.

For me the stuff I am going to try out is on page 199-200. These pages explain how to program the the various EQ settings & the AUX Sends for the Tascam FW-1082.

Logic 8 works with dozen of different control surfaces. Hopefully Apple will see fit to extend this functionality to STP 2 in an update down the road so that users of STP will not be locked into just control surfaces using Mackie Control.

It may be a day or 2 before I get a chance to check out whether this info which should have been
provided to STP users over 2 yrs. ago actually works. I'll post back my success rate.
