USB M-Audio Keystation 49e

I am confused.

I have a USB M-Audio Keystation 49e that works fine in Garageband. When I try to use the USB M-Audio Keystation 49e in Soundtrack Pro, I can get no sound through the software. I have tried many different approaches including configuring the device in Audio MIDI Setup.

What is stopping me from using Soundtrack Pro 2.0.1 with this USB M-Audio Keystation 49e.

Watch the features of Soundtrack Pro and GarageBand on Apple.com and you will find that MIDi is not supported in Soundtrack Pro but is in Garage band.
