Three 3.5 Terabyte XRAIDs, fully populated, reconditioned, configured WITH fibre channel cards, cables. Very low hours. They're configured in RAID 50, which means if a drive goes out your data is safe. This has saved our butts many times. Extremely reliable. Opted for Xraids as SATA RAIDs too risky; one drive goes and so does the data. You can configure them in many different ways, including raid 0, which will give you a bit more space, but no protection.

Generally we're getting about 240-290/mb sec on both read & write, sustained, plenty for 1080 HD, SD, etc. I believe full HD needs about 180. Works great over gigabit ethernet networks to transfer files system to system.

XRAIDs have redundant everything so if one thing fails, the RAID does not. Installed is the max RAM (512) per controller, which helps greatly for speed. Raid Admin utility allows remote monitoring, background conditioning. XSAN used for creating a Shared Area Network. You'll need a fibre switch to do this.

These units have been in regulated, air conditioned, very low humidity, smoke & shock-free environs. They were used for compositing & effects for about 9 months & have been sitting for a year, so not heavily strained for capture, playback, server use etc. The Xraids are in excellent cosmetic condition, original boxes & shipping materials.
