Not registered? Click HERE to register now distortion help needed - 16 years agoHi. I'm in the process of editing a clip. I need to distort (pixel out) the persons face in the clip. So their face is muffled. How do i do that? I am using 4.5 FCP. Thank you very much.by tigerr - Café LA WMV purchase problem - 16 years agoI just purchased 'Flip4Mac WMV Studio Pro' as it was only letting me export WMV files as 20sec files. However i have entered the purchased serial number but it still doesn't seem to solve problem. I upgraded my Mac OS X to version 10.4.10 instead of 10.4.9....i read that FCP4.5 have problems with older versions. Thank you for the help.by tigerr - Café LA WMV sampling rates problems - 16 years agoFCP4.5 software warned us of multiple samples in our video file, which is strange because no sound was recorded during the scene. We're not certain how this could of happened and why it only affects WMV files, the MOV files converts with no problems. Initially I thought it was the soundtrack laid over and stripped it off. This did not resolve the problem. It appears there is an audio signal wby tigerr - Café LA dropped frames - 16 years agoHi, I have been using FCP4 for some time now, however i have suddenly been having problems uploading. It will at different points of the upload have 'drop frames', i have tried to change the 'capture setting' and 'user preference'. I have also tried to rewind the tape back & forth, incase it is the tape being tight. Basically i am confused now and can't do my work!!!! Would it be a pby tigerr - Café LA Font Problems - 17 years agoProblem: DVD Studio 3 Fonting I have attached 2 screen shots... 1 is a before its placed as a overlay image & the other is what it looked like after. Before: After: It looks distorted, how can i make it not distorted? I can't figure out why, is it a default or something i have don't wrong. I have read up about it being a single layer when you make it through photoshop. I shot the material on a DVCAM which doesn't do true 16:9 therefore the set up is 4:3 letterboxed. Which i am happy if i can get all the footage to be the same. However at some point the aspect ratios of these clip change...maybe i changed it but i don't remember when and how. I tried using the 'nesting' function and that seems to help too on some clips. Beste, Tigerrby tigerr - Café LA aspect ratio problems, HELP! - 17 years agoI am currently editing a film project, however the aspect ratio's seems to be all different. For example: a 10 clip piece on a track..... a few are letterboxed 16:9; some are 4:3; and some are distorted 16:9 frames with the image being 4:3 with black parallel bands going on each side. What do i do in order to change them into 4:3 letterboxed or at least the same aspect ratio??? HELP, drivingby tigerr - Café LA |
