How to convert my 60i handycam shots for use with 24p NX5 - 11 years agoI have a project shot on a Sony NX5 at 24p. A second camera, Sony Handycam HDR-CX550 shooting 60i was used for a small part of the project. Both cameras were shot at the same time so I am using Multiclip in FCP7. The sequence settings are set for the 24p footage. The 60i stuff is jumpy, so I figure 24p timeline is dropping the extra frames from the handycam footage. But my experience with Log & Transfer, then dragging to the timeline, then burning is way too long. I want something as easy & quick as with my previous workflow of putting the original tape in a tape player, with a firewire it to a DVD burner, playing the tape, & recording to DVD. I want to transfer the captured clips from the camera to a 16:9 standard def DVD, to show clients on their TV's (w/ DVD players) I need a quick and easy way to burn a DVD of AVCHD card captures from my Sony NX5 camera. If FCP & my MAC's Superdrive doesn't cut it, what will doby Kitty Hawk - Café LA HD QTM is squished when it is converted to web size video - 14 years agoI have a 1 min. self contained Hi-def Quick Time Movie made in FCP6 that I want to convert to an email size file to send out. When in FCP, and I export the file w/ "quick time conv." the video is always squished, and looks 4:3.
