A wood desk, glass is to cold and reflects almost everything giving to eyes extra work in concentrating. After Quicktime opens the sequence, File Menu, Export... with the settings that you need. Or in FCP Goto User Preferences, Editing Tab and give the Still/Frezze duration 1 frame. A small program named, Plixvex, is going to translate the different OS. (and you can change them) If the conversion of the file is ok then connect your iPod and go to the folder where the desired file is and drag it to the iPod icon in Itunes to copy it. I don't know if that was the goal and the music gives a special touch to the drama. Compressor and Natress are the tools for us but they take time for processing, i've mention that i didn't look very well to the quality, tv set, and of course this kind of conversion is not suited for broadcasting. This was a test in my home office where i don't have broadcast gear and made with DV media, not Digibeta. But i will try to do a test at the TV Network. Thisby Rui Barros - Café LA FROM NTSC to PAL and vice-versa. - 17 years agoHi, I was here at home playing with some lessons files of the Apple Certifications Books and i had this strange idea to send them from my Mac Pro to my 17" Powerbook. The Powerbook has a video out and i've connected to my DV deck via S-Video cable, the lessons files are NTSC native and the DV Deck system is PAL, so testing this connection i did a standart conversion in real-time. Later after a week or so i remember having some problems reading a DVD wich other computers didn't. The drive is gone. After doing some tests and following your help the only thing that the drive does is open and close. Monday i will that the Mac to the IMC, we don't have the official Apple here, to fix this. I've bought the Mac Pro less than a mounth ago and it was working without any problem. Last Tuesday i've notice that when inserting a CD or DVD in the Superdrive, the disk didn't show in the Finder. Thanksby Rui Barros - Café LA Re: Do your Avid friends a favor... - 17 years agoThe main problem conserning FCP or Avid is that people simply don't read the manuals, insted they jump into the interface and start cutting. I'm not a "manual dude", but reading a manual during the time we get on the bus, subway, even in the time that "dinner is pushing lunch out", helps to find those little tips that can save your day.
