Jenby jenvery - Café LA Re: Export as an mpeg 2 in FCP STudio - 17 years agoFCP should really put it back in for more flexibility. So what exact steps should I take to take it into DVDSP and make a DVD? What should I export as? Thanks so much, Jenby jenvery - Café LA Re: Mpeg 2 exporting? I was wondering if the current version of FCP has an option to export as an mpeg 2, when I search around the different export types I only see mpeg 4? Where should I look exactly? Does anyone know how to cut down the size of HD footage thats at 960x720 and make it fit into SD 720x480 without squishing the footage? Something like cutting off the sides or extracting the middle? For some reason the sequece was set at DVCpro50 and the clip was DVCpro-NTSC so when I made a new sequence it didnt need to be rendered. Also if I move the clip or do anything to it will I have to render again? Also, I am trying to add lower thirds from Digital Juice to my project and I dont know what resolution to put (such as 720 X 480 or 720 x 486, or something diff) and what frames per second to select, such as 24, 25, or 29.97? I suppose I have to match exactly the original footage. I tried adding the lower third at 720 x 486 at 24 fps and thby jenvery - Café LA 720p to 480i - 17 years agoHi all, I am working with footage from a Panasonic HVX200 that was shot in 720p with 24fps. I heard that for TV broadcast that cable companies will need the final product in 480i. Is this correct, and if so how do I convert the footage (in Compressor)? Also should I edit the whole commercial first and then convert at the end or should I convert first and then edit? Thank you for any help orby jenvery - Café LA |
