audio source button gone...

I lost the second audio source button (one that says "a2"winking smiley on my timeline. I can't make it re-appear, even when inserting clips with 2 tracks of audio, it only drops in the 1st track...
How do I get it back?

- do you have a 2 channel source loaded in the viewer?

- are you sure you're looking at the whole timeline?
make sure the blue scroll bar on the right hand side is all the way at the top of the audio tracks section.

- try a new timeline/sequnce.
there might be a corruption in your current one, although i've never heard of a corruption manifesting itself in this way.
you can copy paste into a new sequence if your old one is corrupt.

This can happen when you delete a track because the source patching disappears with it. To get it back just Ctrl-Click in the grey area above or below the track patching and choose "Reset Panel" from the menu which will put v1-V1, a1-A1 and a2-A2.

Load clips into the Viewer before you drag and drop or using F9-F10.
