Audio capture settings

My audio capture settings switch from Mono to CH1+CH2 when I start to batch capture my clips. I have an interview recorded with one lav sent to both channels on camera, they sounds clean but are recorded too low. I wanted to double the volume by using two mono tracks of audio in my sequence. Why does my capture settings change as batch capture starts. Thanks



Never give up, there is always a solution

You DO have mono sound. Two channels of it. If you hadn't captured both channels, your sound would've been half as loud. If you want to double the sound, double up both channels.

Did you have it set as dual mono when you logged each clip, or are you trying to set it as that just before you hit batch capture? If you've already logged the clips as stereo you may have to go into the clip properties and change it there.
