there;s filters for this called Timecode Generator and Timecode Reader (in the "video" section of your video filters)
you cant just apply them to all the clips, tho - you'll get a different TC for each clip! the simplest way is to make anew sequence, and drag you old one into it. it appears as a nested sequence (read up on nesting) apply the filter to the nested sequence. OPION double click on the nest to open in the viewer to tweak the filter. another approach is to lay some slug over your entire timeline, crop it, and add the filter to that nick
