HELP! How do I UNDO the "Solo Selected Item(s)"
May 03, 2006 03:35AM
i was trying out the "Solo Selected Item(s)" option in the Sequence Menu, and now I can not get the selected items (tracks) unsoloed. Can any one tell me how to un-solo the tracks?

Hopefully someone will see this at this time of night as I have to finish the rough cut and show it to the client in 8 hrs!!

Time to panic!!!

Thanks

Just do it again - solo selected items. It toggles on and off.

Oh - make sure you select all first. I just checked and the menu item is greyed out once you have deselectedyour soloed items.

Apple - A - Solo Selected Items.

Thank you so much Jude! I could find NADA in the manual (online or otherwise) for this function.

I may get some sleep tonight after all... or not...

Hi Gary

A friend had this also happen last week--

Control -B is spposed to unsolo it but it did not work--

I think we had to delete the audio and replace in time line to
to fix it --Ouch--

Might be a bug--

she is using a 17" PB with FCP 4.5--Jay--

CONTROL-B is the command for Clip Enable/Disable, a different feature though with similar applications and more. I don't think there is a system-default shortcut for soloing tracks.

I'm not sure this would work...but could a person go to customize keyboard, then make their own shortcut? I would check right now, but I've got enough other things running that I don't want to slow them down by starting up Final Cut. But that could be a quick and easy way to do it.

Control S is the existing shortcut for Solo, and un-solo
