New 8 Core Mac Pro imminent?

A user in Belgium has reported that he saw an 8 core configuration on the UK and Belgium Apple stores. Claims FCP 6 will ship in April and Aperture 2.0 as soon as next week.

The UK and Belgium online Apple stores are currently offline.

Actually all of Europe seems to have the "Well be back soon" graphic up.

Or maybe the guy was smoking whatever they get in those coffee bars over there.

Still, the rumor site are reporting seeing it.

And if you go to the UK store it's kind of fun to watch the Brit versions of the PC/Mac spots.

Very possibly

CNET labs ran some tests last year swapping out the dual cores for quad cores making 8core in the 1st gen Mac Pros.

i think in Belgium they mostly get coffee in those coffee bars ... or maybe it was too much chocolate and the consequent rush of endorphins :-)
