Printing edit to tape

I have finished editing a movie. I have in the past printed the video to tape from my other edit system but for some reason, I cannot do so with this movie on this G3 with 10.4.9.

I do get the machine to record and the movie plays but the video and audio does not make it through the firewire.

Any thoughts... anyone?

I am sending it to mini-dv. I have made a dvd of the movie already.

Just stumped now.

Is View - External Video set to All Frames?
