Partial OMF

Hey guys,

Had a slight mix up and needed to change some video and already sent everything to sound guys.

Need to send a new OMF but not for the entire show (just the opening credits)

Tried to set an outpoint but the OMF export doesn't recognize it.

Is there anything short of making a new sequence to get a partial export of the OMF?

If at first you don't succeed, keep ****ing it up 'till it works!

No. You need to duplicate your sequence (to keep the same TC) and CUT OUT everyting you DON'T WANT in the new OMF. Then you have only what you want to OMF.

I find it odd that the OMF export will not recognize IN and OUT points. But again, FCP and media management...suuuuuckkks!

but then again...

FCP OMFs are so basic, they rarely go wrong.
