Audio Mixing Window no longer works

Hello,

We are mixing a show using an external control surface and the audio mix window in FCP. After doing an audio mixdown in order to lay a draft to tape, the audio mixer no longer seems connected to the timeline.

Before the mixdown, when I hit play, the faders in the audio mix window responded in real time to the keyframes in the timeline. Now, if I scrub through the timeline, the audio mixer responds - but it doesn't when I hit play.

Nothing I have done seems to bring the audio mixer back to life. I already render manager deleted my mixdown and audio renders and trashed prefs.

Anyone else experienced this?

In other sequences in the same project, the mixer and control surface still work.

don't forget you need to reset your control panels after a pref trash.

I did reset the control panel after trashing prefs.

In other sequences in the same project, the mixer and control surface still work. It just the one sequence that is behaving strangely.

ok...
there may be some sort of corruption in that sequence

copy everything in that sequence
ad paste it into a new one.

see what happens.
