Hello,

I have a video that is 720 x 480 anamorphic and i'm trying to convert it to 16:9 so that I can put on iDVD to play on a 16:9 tv...

uhh...i hope tht makes some sense? LOL....have to...get it....done....before...tomrrow...

16:9 FHA is really just a flag. Not sure how iDVD works, but to make sure that players read the flag in DVDSP, make sure you select the "16:9 letterbox" option in the track settings.

Reminding folks that not all 16:9 is anamorphic. Some systems hard-matte it. (For DV, anamorphic is better-- it uses the whole chip.)

dont know if iDVD has been fixed,
but it used to only recognise the 16/9 flag if the export came from iMovie.

the solution is to use "The Anamorphicizer" (free-ware)
