My Editor is trying to return a sped up clip back to it's original speed. It was shot with Red One shot at 89fps with sound sync. So, the clip is sped up to 370.8% to sync audio. When played at normal speed, the shot is slow motion.
He selected an in and out of the clip and layed it into the timeline. When he changes the speed back to 100% on the piece, the shot turns into a diiferent piece of the clip. Apple-Z it back to 370.8% and match frame it into the Viewer and it becomes a diiferent camera angle.
Lot's of weird crap going on here.
Here's my workflow.
The Take was shot with 3 separate cameras, one of them at 89fps.
I grab the Audio WAV file of the take and lay it in the timeline.
I find the 3 slate claps and put a marker at each spot.
I Option drag 2 additional copies out on the time line. Each has 3 markers in them.
I then lay each camera on top of one of the 3 WAV clips.
The 3rd camera is the 89fps so I change its speed to 370.8 (seems to put it back in sound sync)
I find the slate clap for each camera clip and add a marker.
I think line up the markers (video and audio) Apple-L them together and then drag the whole piece back into the scene bin. Rinse and repeat for the other cameras.
I'm I doing it wrong to cause the issue stated above?
