video audio link

my audio and video of a clip no longer seem to be linked to one another, even when the icon for linking is green. I use ripple roll a lot, and it doesn't work. Whats up with this?

The chain icon is for linked selection, how a clip is selected when it is clicked. It has nothing to do with a piece of video being linked to a piece of audio. Is the video name in the timeline underlined? If not, it's not linked. Select the video and audio you want to link and press Cmd-L.

Not sure what green lights you're talking about... But it's shift L to toggle on/off the linked selection function.

strypes, the buttons on the Timeline window turn green when activated. Snapping and Linked Selection are usually there by default.

Ah.. Sorry, I was thinking of the green on the track enable buttons on the left of the timeline... My bad!
