FCP 4.5 and QT 7.6

Hi All--

A friend of mine just purchased a G4 - Dual 1.25 PowerMac tower--
2 gigs of ram -

He wants to install FCP 4.5 on to it--

The Powermac has OSX 10.4.11 and it has QT 7.6 on it --

Will FCP 4.5 operate with these versions of OSX and QT 7.6 -????

Or will we have to down grade ether the OS or QT --

I won't advice it. Go do a fresh reinstallation, and go on a much older version of QT and OS.

FCP 4.5 will work quite nicely on a Dual 1.25GHz G4 PowerMac running OS X Tiger (10.4.11) and QuickTime 7.1.6. I know this as a certain fact.

After QT 7.1.6, you're on your own...
