Live feed from camera into FCPPosted by Göran
Hi! I thought I post in this forum too.
So this is my scenario: Day one, shooting a locked off outdoor, perspective scene. Day two, shooting a locked off studio, perspective scen. Problem: Need to match the angle and objects in the scene. To do that, i need to get a live feed from the camera and overlaying a still from the shot from the first day. Is that possible in FCP? I probably going to shoot RED so firewire is out of the question. Or does anyone have any suggestion to get a live feed from a camera via BNC into some software and overlaying an image there? Thank's
If you specifically want to bring in a still for comparison then HD Monitor will let you do that
[www.hdmonitorpro.com] If you are keying then maybe something like VeeScope Live is better [www.dvdxdv.com]
Telestream Pipeline. It's not cheap but you can actually start editing as the source is feeding.
[www.telestream.net] Video Capture FeaturesIngest into editing workflows Significant time savings for importing & exporting media Edit events and breaking news while they are being captured External video encoding frees up your workstation for editing Smart encoding to Final Cut Pro project bin settings Drag and-drop support for EDLs and Final Cut Interchange files
