Is it possible to export a FCP7 project or sequence into FCP6?

Is it possible to export a FCP7 project or sequence into FCP6? If so, how?

Select everything in you FCP browser (or deselect everything, and select just the FCP project browser. Then Export>XML, choose version 4.

If you have a lot of text, you may want to upgrade FCP 7 (if you are on FCP 7.0.2), as the new upgrade apparently fixes line break issues in previous versions of xmls.

Yeah...but only when I use HDV. It seems to work fine with my Canon 7D footage when I bring it in as XDCAM or ProRes. Fortunately I don't need to do it very often. I thought I might need it for a 7D project I'm doing in XDCAM, which has a lot of little clips, but as I discovered (just now) SmoothCam works fine with my XDCAM files. We're trying to find a way to phase out our HDV cameras and replace them with DSLRs, so all my HDV issues will hopefully be gone forever!
