Subtitles in FCP 6

Hello, I have a project that requires 3 different language subtitles that are being done by a subtitle company. I realise now that the subtitles have to be done in FCP for 3 different videos as powerpoint sections of the video are also being translated and dropped into the video. What format do they send me the subtitles and is it possible they send one file that I can lay across my final edit? I will send them the final edit and then I assume they will line up the subtitles accordingly. Any help would be appreciated.

You can add the subtitles as streams in DVDSP, which is better, because then you don't need three versions of the video and audio on the same DVD. Generally you get an STL file, which DVDSP can read. Do a search for DVDSP subtitle tutorials.
