I hear several crews worldwide are hustling to be the first to shoot, edit, mix and grade their films on the iphone. Apparently a full post production suite will be awarded to the winner as decided by apple.inc along with the gimmick-qudos of completing the task on the latest iphone.
don't shoot the messenger, it's just a rumour . . . Bluey,
It's already been done...
[iphone.tmcnet.com] And there was that group that had a Sundance movie done entirely in iMovie a few years ago Two on the list of "Now you know that you CAN do it, decide why SHOULD you do it?" ak Sleeplings, AWAKE!
Back in the early 90s we used to record animation to tape, frame by frame with a targa board!

zoom-tilt-pan . . . on what to what? this sounds pretty raw! . . so you took pictures and then did what with them? please do share sounds awesome . . . my initial obsession was vhs/hi8, spliced as stated with occasional white noise in between, the final cut being played out off the vcr/tv with audio included via cassette off the speakers in the same room and captured by the sony hi8 (curtains closed zero light reflection) and then recorded back to vhs again as the master . . . many skate videos were cut for the benefit of the local community via this technique of course these days i'm in Hollywood ****ing Harvey Kienstine with a betamax and 6 gallons of KY, respectfully . . .
Bluey,
