Import error on a Pro Res 422 .MOV

Batch transcoded RED footage in Red Cine to Pro Res 422 (1080p, 23.976).

When finished, one clip, and only one clip out of the bunch, would not import into FCP7. The file gave me "Import error". I found this very strange, as Pro Res is what FCP7 likes the best.

I tired the following:

Transcoding the same clip from the R3d again - import error.

Transcoded the transcode with Mpeg Streamclip - import error.

Transcoded the transcode with AME - Success.


So that was my solution but what in the heck could the issue with that clip be hat would cause an import error?
