linking to a PC server

I am unsure how to link my Mac G4 into our Windows 2000 server, so I can move files from the mac to the server and back. The two computers are on a 10/100 ethernet the server is set up as a shared drive. Any suggestions?

Files saved to Windows will loose their identity as MAC files. Since MAcOS uses a forked file and Windows does not, upon loading the MAC file onto Windows the intergity of the MAC file will be destroyed.

That is why there is a MAC OS X Server. If you are "stuck" in a mostly Windows environment and don't have any choices there are tools like DAVE and other things that might help.

It's a video server and I just want to transfer
mpeg files to it.
