Digi Layoff and HD Cam Conversion

I'm working off of a G5 with FCP HD. I am trying to lay a quicktime file (rendered out of After effects and the codec was animation, 960x540) off to a Digi that will eventually be up converted to an HD Cam. If I switch my sequence settings to reflect:

Fram size; HDTV 1080i (16:9)
Pixel Aspect: DVCpro HD (1080i60)
Quicktime compressor; DVCPRo HD 1080i60

should I be able to lay off to a digi? It seems to be laying off on my computer monitor, but I am not getting any picture off of my NTSC monitor. Is there another setting I need to change to layoff?

Any help is always appreciated.

What are you using to preview out to NTSC? Deck or card?
