QT has an "old movie" filter that makes it sepia, adds noise and jerkiness. Not as much control as Nattress, but might be all you need and you already have it. You might try FCP's Strobe filter for some "hesitation" type jerkiness.

So you want to get a film look, or an "old" film look?

Just the plain old film look is pretty easy, add a touch of grain, play with the contrast levels, I think FCP has a "frame" filter in the pallette.

For an old film look ( this is tedius but free) just do everything above but then go through your footage and cut out a few frames. This will get it a little jerky looking.

Well, that's all I got, seems to work OK for me.

The best combo of filters I have ever seen is:

A cross between using the Natress Film Effects filter (use the 24p & the S curve portions only)

and then use the Film Damage filter in Boris Effects (set jump, scrtaches, hairs, grain, etc.)

If you have the ability to do this, you will see the best of the best results.
