what is best format to export to file share for DVD

I have to send someone a file to burn to DVD via a file sharing program. It's regular DV NTSC 720X480 created on Final Cut 5.1.4. I have to send it via a file sharing program so they can open it and burn it without losing quality. Any format and setting suggestions? Also, does anyone have a suggestion for the best file sharing program that is reliable, inexpensive and fast? Thanks!

I have to send a 4 minute reel via a file sharing program "You send it" etc... to someone who needs to burn a DVD. What is the best format to export to keep the best possible quality? It's a basic DV NTSC, frame size 720X480 created on Final Cut 5.1.4. Are there any suggestions for settings? I just want to make it as simple as possible for the person on the other end who is fairly illiterate when it comes to this, more so than myself smiling smiley Thanks! Also, if there are any suggestions for the best (and least expensive) file sharing program?

Then just send a DV NTSC Quicktime. It'll only be 700-and-a-bit megabytes. Pretty trivial these days.

I've exported it as a quicktime several times and I keep getting a file that's only around 50mbs. How do I export it to get a large file size? and do I need to adjust settings?

Export a self contained quicktime movie under current settings.

If you sign up for a trial pro account, you get unlimited file size from what I can remember.

You Send It is pretty cheap, from memory.

if you do go that way,
make sure you get the You Send It Express APPLICATION.
you basically upload files direct from the app.

i believe the uploads are faster, too.

Yep. I'd vouch for that. For some reason it's faster than up/downloading through the web browser.

There's also mediafire, which i don't usually use. But I think mediafire has popups.
