Asst. Editors Wanted

We are a documentary production company specializing in DVD Content, TV Specials, Viral Marketing Campaigns and EPK packages for major motion pictures. We also have a division focused on producing independent feature documentaries. We are currently seeking to bolster our editorial team and are soliciting assistant editors with FCP proficiency.

Knowledge of the latest versions of Final Cut, SAN/Server storage systems and DVD Studio Pro on Mac platform are a must. Media Management and workflow experience essential. Would prefer you to have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience as assistant editor and/or 6 months-1year on FCP. Must also have the ability to work well within a team.

Position entails: logging, digitizing, pulling clips and organizing media for editors, prepping OMFs, prepping for on-lines, technical support, management of graphics and 3rd party materials, generating shot logs and cue sheets, and other tasks as needed.

I am an advanced user of , Final Cut 5 (now 6), DVD Studio Pro, Photoshop, Motion, Shake, Live Type, Compressor, Pro Tools, Logic Audio & Soundtrack Pro, Peak, Dreamweaver, Flash & Flash video.
