FCP to MPEG2 Export

Hello All,
OSX 10.2.6 Jaguar FCP 3.0.4, DVDSP 1.5, 1.5 GB Ram.
My question is that I can export from quicktime pro to MPEG 2 however I cannot export directly from FCP to MPEG2. Any Suggestions?

You sure can export directly to MPEG-2.

Select Export, QuickTime. Then right where it says Format, choose MPEG-2, not under any options. Its the FORMAT which is right there, right off the bat. When you installed DVDSP1.5, you got an MPEG-2 Codec. That format became available then.

Take another look and let us know how that works out for you.

I Just verifed under options from the export for quicktime it only has MPEG 4 not MPEG 2.

You might need to re-install DVDSP 1.5.
