No Apack

I attempted to open apack after upgrading to DVD SP4 and it will not open. Is there another way to compress the audio aif file for DVD SP4 so I can get the file under 4.7?

A.Pack is gone for good. Its' functionality is now part of Compressor 2. Notice that each DVD Preset Category has an AC-3/Dolby preset in it. For stereo AC-3 it's much easoer now, as you don't have to assign channels manually - Compressor does it for you. You still need that for 5.1 or any other multi-channel configuration. Unfortunately, there isn't now a fast way to test the AC-3 files, other than opening the files with DVD SP itself.
