Besides Creative Cow , and DM.net are there any good groups for Combustion users who use Mac?

Thats about it! As far as I know, CreativeCow is the most active forum for C3-C4

Amazing that in its' short life, Motion has probably already surpassed Combustion in terms of resources, ie, books, training DVDs, dedicated web sites, web forums, etc. That in itself speaks volumes, doesn't it?
