Can't unlock Soundtrack Pro with serial #

I recently reformatted & reinstalled all software on my G5. My FCP5 is an
upgrade from FCP4. When I go to launch Soundtrack it asks for my Serial-I
enter my FCP5 # and then am prompted for my original serial #. I enter my
FCP 4 serial and it tells me it is "invalid"- I've checked & rechecked my typing as well. This is the same procedure I used to unlock FCP, DVD studio & Motion. Any help would be
appreciated

Are you using FC Studio or just FCP 5 as the basis for a serial number? I don't think Soundtrack Pro comes without the Studio.

FC Studio has only one serial number which authorizes all the studio apps. When upgrading from FCP 4 , you need either the FCP 4 Suite serial number or each of three original numbers from FCP 4, DVD Studio 3 and Motion 1.


Again you might try reinstalling everything or try to find the file that has those serial number and delete it.

I'm using Studio. I called Apple-here's the fix:

Close all applications. Go into Library>App
Support>ProApps. Drag "Final Cut Studio System ID" to desktop. Then open
FCP and reserialize. Do the same to Soundtrack and tada!!!

I have my serial number but when the software asks me for my company what is eh actually asking for?? i mean... i put my name, i put my serial number but.. what do i put in company so it can be valid my serial #??
