Select tool

Hi - Is there a select tracks forward tool like in Final Cut. I want to select all the tracks in front and close a gap.

If you highlight all the clips, you can then drag the whole mess to wherever you want. Having snapping on may help to butt up to another clip.

yes but what I am trying to do is ripple delete, or, close a gap. By selecting all the tracks you can't close a gap on the timeline. unless you select all and hold the apple key to deselect whatever's infront of the gap and then manually closing the gap....wow...just imagine how tidius this is.
