Click HERE to register now Why wrong aspect ratio ? - 15 years agoHi there, I bet somebody knows the answer to my troubles out there..... whats simple for one can cause major headaches for me. Not really a computer buff but i'm giving it a go.... I'm running fcp 6 on an imac 2.4ghz intel duo and would love to know why even though i shot my footage in DV 16:9, when i import them they come up in what i think is a 4:3 window? ( both in the logging window andby earlybird2005 - Café LA Everything wants rendering..... - 15 years agoI cant remember changing anything but why when i drag my clips to the timeline from the viewer do they want to be rendered? My capture and sequence settings are the same..... I know probably a simple answer but i cant see it.... Thanks in advance for any clues.... Mine always come out 4:3....What dimensions do you use for 16:9? I'm having a few quicktime compression issues..... I am using a g4 imac with a gig of ram and a gig processor and cutting on fcp 5. I have a quicktime .mov i have exported that runs about 4min:30seconds, it was shot at 720p30 and the outputted .mov file is around 440mb Trouble is that the playback is rubbish.
