Thanks again. Jby James T - Café LA Export Alpha Channel....ONLY!! - 17 years agoHey Guys, I have an eight second clip that is an Alpha channel exported from 3d studio max in QT Animation. I need to do some minor adjustments (trimming and looping) in FCP, and export the clip w/transparency, before i bring the animation into my sequence as an alpha channel. Everything works well, except for the export after the trimming. "and the timeline is not like a FCP timeline." makes sense, just not perfect senseby James T - DVD Studio Pro Re: Video Bit Rate too HIgh - 17 years agogot it! Don't ask me how must have been a fluke (6hr fluke) Thanks Jby James T - DVD Studio Pro VTS folders - 17 years agohey guys. I have a question about VTS folders. "WHY IS THERE ONE VTS FOLDER PER TRACK?" Why can i not move multiple clips to a VTS folder? Is this standard DVDSP protocol? (kind of a pain in the ass for linking) perhaps you can explain. thanks again Jby James T - DVD Studio Pro Re: Video Bit Rate too HIgh - 17 years agothanks for the reply, all audio is compressed to Dolby2.0 ac3 TRT: 1:22:46;13 I have explored all options I have no idea what the problem is...... Could it be part of the VTS order? thanks again, Jby James T - DVD Studio Pro Video Bit Rate too HIgh - 17 years agohey guys, I have seen this topic on here from time to time, and now its my turn. I have just completed the authoring for a Dual Layer disc. With a bit rate of 5.5 w/ VBR 7.4 I get an error during the muxing stage: "Video Bit Rate Too High" I have reduced my bit rate from an original 6.0 w/ VBR 8.0 to 5.5 w/ VBR 7.4, and still same message. I have tried what you have said but I do not think that I am working it properly. Let me know if my layers are in order of your instructions. Where do i place the text in the layers? Which layers do I apply the filters(color correction) to? I have changed the order of these layers asby James T - Motion keying - 18 years agohey guys, I have some footage shot on DV in a studio with a white back drop. I have keyed out the white, dropped a white matte behind the footage, and placed my text in-between. My question is, Is there anyway to clean up the keying, or the "white border of separation?" I dont know what to do anymore, If someone could help me out with the correct workflow it would be awsomeby James T - Motion Re: motion workflow - 18 years agoyea, I sent the whole sequence, its 30sec. now, when I render in FCP5, it going to to give me FCP quality text, correct? if this is the case I dont want that. Is it going to lose the qualityby James T - Motion motion workflow - 18 years agohey guys, got another easy one for you, unfortunately not for me. I recently shot and edited a commercial on a SDX900, edited in FCP 5, exported to DV50 NTSC anamorphic.mov, brought the file into Motion to do the text, now I need to print to tape for the broadcast. What is the best way to do this w/o losing my text quality? I dont believe you can print to video through motion, can you? I am aware that DVDSP, can handle 3 overlay colors; blue, black, and red. but was hoping for a miracle. I dont know, is there way to hide a dropzone until selected I dont think this is going to happen, I have already created a different layout. if anyone as any ideas, let me know Thanks for your time, Jby James T - DVD Studio Pro |
