And it isn't ! So I wonder why not? My clip is a 14 second mov, DV 720x480, exported right out of FCP Export > QuickTime. Some knock off of the Avid (Fire?) that the big studios use, or something really different because we're DVD and TV? I think editing boxcars is kind of juvenile myself... It dawned on me that there really hasn't been any Apple hype about FCP/FCS in about a year and a half. Is it as straightforward as getting an off the shelf power converter, or is there a specific Apple part? I have an iMac 20. When I notice it, I just unlink the audio from the video and slide the audio a few frames until the lips sync. I do 5 minute chapters at a time of a large project. A periodic error I get, and others have written about as well: something about file name does not exist, when I go to "save". It's always good to learn a new term here. Then I take the 4x3 video and put it on track 2 and it is centered... Then I get a graphic that looks like one side of a picture frame (a previous thread here) and put it on track 3 to mask the left edge of the 4x3 clip... and copy/paste that graphic to track 4 and rotate 180, to mask the right edge...
